Indian ink is made in the traditional manner from shellac and carbon black with a great depth of tone.
It has excellent lightfastness thusallowing many tints to be created.
A deep black waterproof ink for drawing and calligraphy.
It can be used pure or diluted in water.
Avalaible sizes : 8,5ml, 11ml, 30ml and 250 ml.
A range of 15 transparent and bright colours.
All these colours aredyes based (excepted for white), then lightfastness is not as good asthe black ink (pigment based).

Lino printing (soft material) allows a pattern to be printed an unlimited number of times onto paper, wood, fabrics, etc. The children will therefore understand the reasons for this traditional printing technique that is simple and inexpensive.
